    wrong fill, no charts updating

    first: last night I installed an NT v 7 demo with the CQG feed from AMP Futures, my
    os is xp pro sp3
    I setup a 10 sec 6E chart and entered a test trade and - see attached image

    2 problems: first, why is the order entry indicator bar where it is, 17 pips below the
    actual price, and which by my calculation should show a loss of $212.50 not the
    $87.50 displayed by NT - left image
    middle image shows chart after closing the trade
    right image: 8 hours later decided to try a different futures to see if the problem still
    existed and loaded a 10 sec ES chart, same problem

    second: after the trade was entered, the chart didn't update and after 10.4 minutes
    I closed the trade then closed NT, same thing with the ES chart and, the charts are
    fixed as you see them - haven't updated since the trades were entered - that is new
    charts won't update with current price bars


    another matter: wasn't NT v 6.5 able to set/lock the right margin value - I had it set
    to 4 - 4 pips and that scale remained regardless of expanding/contracting price bars
    can the same be done with v 7 - how ?

    Thanks for your post.

    1.) I believe you're running in to a recently identified known issue here. We've released a patch which should prevent this from occurring in the future.

    You'll need to uninstall NinjaTrader 7 via the Windows Control Panel, then reinstall via the following link: http://www.ninjatrader.com/webnew/download_download.htm

    Do not delete the My Documents > NinjaTrader 7 folder when uninstalling so that you can retain your custom settings.

    2.) Which session template does the chart use?
    You can check by right clicking in the chart and loading the 'Data Series' menu. Session template will be listed on the right hand side.

    3.) Yes, this is possible in V7 as well.
    Please double click on the price axis to open the Chart Panel Properties menu. You'll be able to define the fixed range therein.

      I've uninstalled and reinstalled NT and switched to ZenFire data feed via AMP
      and like the CQG feed, charts are Not updating

        Hello tradr,

        Can you please tell us what session template is selected in the data series menu of your charts.

        Please select the 'Default 24/7' session template in the data series menu and check if the charts will receive real-time data.
