    Missing Chart data very inconsistent

    Pretty much any instrument I load has issues. NQ and TF are the worst and they will only load 1 bar, where as the CL will load everything but missing data from 7am PST till when I load the chart and/or NT, ES is missing about a day or so. It doesnt matter what time/vol/tick/etc frame its all the same. I tried everything suggested on the NT site and on the forums like reopening, making new charts, templates, etc. but nothing has changed anything. Including this:


    Once the chart is up, it streams fine and correctly but theres no way to go back and look at bars from before the time when I opened up NT. I have the same problem on both the live feed and the demo feed.

    im using the Zenfire feed thru Mirus Futures.

    Thanks for the forum post.

    It sounds like you dont have historical data enabled on your connection.

    Please confirm you have historical data enabled with the steps I have provided below.
    • Disconnect
    • Tools
    • Account Connections
    • Select your connection
    • Change
    • Next
    • Historical Data-->Enabled
    • Next
    • Next Finish
    • Reconnect

      I have historical data enabled...and I went thru and deleted the account and re-entered it but its still doing the same thing.

        In this case I will want to look further into this.

        Can you please send a note via the Control Center->Help->Mail to support and reference this forum post and put ATTN: Brett in the subject line and include your log and trace files so that I can see whats going on here.

        Also, you may want to include your phone number so that I can call if its needed.

          Ok I got it to work...not sure if my order of operations was screwed up or what....but here is what I did..

          First, went and hit "repair DB" then hit "reset instruments" then deleted the ZenFire Feed.

          Closed NT and reopened, and then readded the ZenFire feed and connetcted...and now if comes up correctly. I tried emailing you the log and trace files but the email keeps timing out saying it cannot connect to the ip...blah.blah.blah.blah

          Do you still want the file? I can manually email it to you if you point me where the log and trace files are stored in Windows7.

                Please send it to support at ninjatrader dot com and reference this forum post.

                You can find these files at the following locations, please attach these to a return email as an attachment
                My Documents--> NinjaTrader 7--> Trace--> trace.20110214
                for today. (trace.yyyymmdd for any other date)
                My Documents--> NinjaTrader 7--> Log--> log.20110214
                for today. (log.yyyymmdd for any other date)
