    NT7B3 Installation issue WinXP 64Bit

    Guys,
    I am having trouble getting the 64Bit version to install correctly.
    The 32 Bit version works fine.
    Was hoping not to have to delete the directories and reload/reconfigure everything.

    Add Remove only re-installs 32 bit version.
    64 Bit version did not install.
    Now will uninstall and delete the directories.
    Ugh.

      Removed NT7 using Add/Remove
      Deleted all NT7 directories.
      Still does not install 64 bit version.
      Ideas?

        Hi gyoung,

        Thank you for your post.

        Regarding the installation on running a 64 bit PC to see where the issue lies can you please forward us your log and trace files to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com.

        You will find the log file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Log folder.
        • The log file will be named ‘log.YYYYMMDD.txt’

        You will find the trace file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.
        • The trace file will be named ‘trace.YYYYMMDD.txt’



        Once we have those files we will be able to determine the precise cause of the issue, and then work to resolve it.

          Ryan,
          Sorry for not getting back sooner.
          I went ahead and un-installed NT completely several times, rebooting and reinstalling and it finally installed after the 5th or 6th time.
          Next time I run into this issue, I will make sure to send these to you.
          I am fairly certain I will have the same issue with release 4.

            Hi gyoung,

            That sounds good, and glad to hear that you were able to install, and if this issue does persist we can review those diagnostic files to identify the source of the issue and resolve it based on the contents of those files so that the issue will no longer persist, it it does.
