Drawing Tools Feature Request

I've seen several requests in the forum dating back several years for some type of drawing toolbar or pallet that will stay open. Has any work been done on this? Does it exist and I just can't find it?

It gets old really quick having to go through multiple clicks and a menu every time you want to add a new drawing object. And no, I do not want to use hot-keys.

This is a pretty simple straight-forward request, is it not? A toolbar or floating pallet with icons on it for all drawing objects.

Can Ninja Support please comment on this? Thank you much.

Thank you for your post.

Presently drawing objects can be applied to a chart from the Drawing Objects toolbar icon, hot-keys which are pre-defined but can be changed, or with a right-click on the chart and then selecting the Drawing Objects menu.

Presently there is not a drawing objects palette that opens separately, and can be left open, but I have forwarded this suggestion to development for inclusion on the list of possible future enhancements as something akin to the Data Box, such that when it is opened it can stay open.

A floating pallet like the data box would certainly be nice.

In the short term, perhaps a more simple solution would be to have an optional drawing toolbar. There is a massive amount of unused real estate on the current toolbar.

Another even more flexible alternative would be to just allow user customization of the current toolbar so we can add our favorite drawing buttons.
