    Alert Log Message

    Every time I open the Indicators window I get the following message:
    Unable to retrieve type infos from assembly '2e8b3db2ada34bb8a732cb0dfcca93ab': System.Reflection.ReflectionTypeLoadException: Unable to load one or more of the requested types. Retrieve the LoaderExceptions property for more information.
    at System.Reflection.Module._GetTypesInternal(StackCr awlMark& stackMark)
    at System.Reflection.Assembly.GetTypes()
    at NinjaTrader.Cbi.AssemblyDictionary.GetTypes(Type superClass)

    This did not occur when the program was first installed. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling NT but the problem came back immediately.
    My operating system is Windows 7 and I am running 3rd party indicators from NetPicks, SST and UST. The message still occus even on a fresh chart with no indicators attached.

    Thank you for your post.

    The message appears to indicate an issue with the indicators that are loading, and even if they are not on a chart they will still compile when the application is opened. To further identify the precise cause of the issue can you please send an email to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com and attach your log and trace diagnostic files.

    You will find the log file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Log folder.
    • The log file will be named ‘log.YYYYMMDD.txt’

    You will find the trace file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.
    • The trace file will be named ‘trace.YYYYMMDD.txt’


    When sending that response can you please reference this forum post so that we can review the attached diagnostic files in light of this particular thread.

      I have the same problem. Re-installing NT7 does not help.

        To understand this issue can you please forward me your log and trace diagnostic files. We will want to review your particular files for any issues therein.

        You will find the log file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Log folder.
        • The log file will be named log.YYYYMMDD.txt

        You will find the trace file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.
        • The trace file will be named trace.YYYYMMDD.txt


        Please send the files to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com and please reference this thread when forwarding those items as context.
