PFG Connection Problems

Hallo,

I am experiencing problems connecting to my broker using the PFG API.

""Login failed. Unable to connect to PFGAPI.exe. Did you install PFG client yet?
Retreiving the COM class factory component with CLSID {some hex stuff} failed due to the following error: 80""

I tried reinstalling both, NT7 and PFG API. Nothing helped so far. Whats the solution for this problem please ?

Thanks for your forum post.

Please uninstall the PFG API by going to your computer control panel.

This next part is key, please make sure that you download the correct PFG API for the version of NinjaTrader you have installed as their are 3 version of the PFG API for download.

Then you will be able to connect.

I get this message also after installing a new api version for version 3

Please uninstall the existing copy of the PFG API you are using on this machine via the Windows Control Panel.

Next, reinstall version version 1.0.459 of the PFG API via the following link: http://www.ninjatrader-support2.com/...GSetup.NT7.exe

System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x800706BA): Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {0A5C4E13-E9B9-43AE-AEA0-F43F087D07C4} failed due to the following error: 800706ba.

sorry for problem to you I found, in services , somehow dcom service was not running.

Based on your edit can you please clarify if the issue persists, and if so can you please uninstall and reinstall NinjaTrader 7.0.1000.3 to work with the PFG API 1.0.459.

Please follow the steps listed below to completely uninstall and reinstall NinjaTrader:

1. Close all running applications.
2. Then from the Start menu select --> Control Panel --> Add and Remove Programs.
3. From Add and Remove Programs select NinjaTrader 7 and click Remove.
4. Reboot your machine.
5. Once these steps are completed, download NT7 from the link below:
   Download

This will not be a complete uninstall of NinjaTrader as your settings will remain intact.

Hi sorry,you waiste time, somehow dcom service was stopped, that was reason.
its working now.
