Centering price on Chart

Hi is it possible to center the price on the chart, where it is always in the same place kinda like in the DOM?

Thanks for your note.

There is unfortunately not a way to do this in the chart.

What you can do is put the chart in fixed scale mode, However there is no auto center function that can be enabled.

To put the chat in fixed scale mode hold down CTRL and the left click and drag in the price axis on the right of the chart.

You will see an F in the top right hand corner of the chart. This means that chart is in fixed scale mode. Now when price action moves everything will stay to scale.

I know about the fixed scale but it doesn't do what i wanted it to do.I'd like to place a request for price centering in some future edition of NT.

So that I can get this feature request correct.

Please clarify on if yo want Price to stay directly in the middle like in the dynamic superDOM. Or if you would like the price to move around but if it reaches the top or bottom of the chart to auto center it like in the static superDOM.

Directly in the center please no movement like the Dynamic SuperDOM.

Thank you for the message.

You could also upgrade to the NinjaTrader 8 platform to have access to this setting/feature by default as it was added into the NinjaTrader 8 platform.

• Right-click on the chart > Data Series > Visual > Center price on scale, check this box > Click OK

You are able to upgrade to the NinjaTrader 8 platform for Free. And, your Connection and License Key will also work within NinjaTrader 8.

Download and Install NinjaTrader 8:

Please use the steps below to download and install NinjaTrader 8:

• Go to https://ninjatrader.com/GetStarted and enter your Email into the box provided and click 'Download'

• Click 'Yes' or 'No' for a Free Demo of Live Market Data
• Click the big maroon Download button above NinjaTrader 8

• Once downloaded, double-click the file to run the installer

• Click Next through the prompts until it is finished installing

• After installing the platform, run the program by double-clicking the "NinjaTrader" desktop icon.

• If you requested a demo, enter the credentials in the connection window that pops up upon opening
• If you did not request a demo, click 'Skip'

When you see the window appear about "Migration" click Yes.

• The following settings will be Migrated between the two platforms:

From here, Reopen NinjaTrader and you are ready to continue using the platform.
