how do NT7 apear real index vol in chart?

I use NT7-kinetick,Only for DJIA. Load DJIA ,the VOL isn't correct and can't keep on chart if you reconnect. It is differrent from S&P500,YM,stock. why?

DJIA is not a traded index, so it has no real volume. Use DJX or DIA as a proxy.

DIA is shipped by default. You may have to ass DJX manually to the instrument manager.

            Hello zhaofangoo,

Some providers may try to represent volume a few different ways, but the nature of an index = no trading volume. There's unfortunately no way of knowing what those bars are supposed to represent without inquiring directly with the provider.

Please inquire with the provider of the data what these numbers represent.
