delayed zenfire data

    ref. to your question: yes, definitly startetd this week, but I'm not sure...was it Thuesday or Wednesday

    Status:
    Higher Momentum on CL
    Delay with Zenfire up to 8-12 seconds
    (definitly not to trade!!...or i change from scalping to "Investing" )

      Thanks again. To confirm, the Kinetick connection is not lagging? If yes, I would like to try another test to isolate it down further.

      - Both PC's are running 7.0.1000.2?
      - If yes, I want to send you another Zen login, can you send me mail to support, attention "RAYD"
      - Then I want you to connect to your live (problem) account on the PC that is running kinetick right now and kill the Kinetick connect and connect to your live Zen account
      - Then on the other PC, create a new connection with thew logon I will send you once I receive your email

      Then monitor and let me know if there is lag on both or just one account and which one.

        - Mail sent
        - both PC's 7.0.1000.2
        - Kinetik not lagging
        - 2 Pictures with diffrence on T&S sent

          - switched loggin on PC's.
          - It proofs again, Zenfire Data delayed, Kinetik Data ok.
          - 1 picture sent to support to nail the diffrence
          (oohh boy...i get tired...)

            Okay, I've been using the Kinetick data for about 45 minutes now without any delay.

              same result:
              - testet Kinetik since 2 hours: no delay
              - Zenfire on higher Momentum (Dataspeed) delayed 2-8 Seconds
              -- switched PC's 2x...and Delay stays on Zenfire-Data

                zen-fire freezing

                Hello,

                I am having a similar problem as well all week. Zen-fire delayed and locking up during heavy volumes. It is happening on multiple computers, I even formatted one to try to correct this problem. I have a higher end computer running Windows 7 SP1, current broker is AMP live and verson of Ninja is 1000.3. Many times during the day my connected turns Orange. It makes no difference if I have 1 or 100 charts open, same problem. If there is anything I can do to help please let me know.

                  - Started Test.
                  - So far...both (Kinetick + Zenfire) in sync

                    I have to go... !!
                    But the last testresult gives me a good feeling...because the last 10 minutes (also with larger Volume) I have seen no "divergence" (lagging ) on Price + Time.

                      Your issue does not seem related to this thread. It looks like you are having general connection issues due to the fact that your connection status is going orange indicating that you are disconnected from the Datafeed. This would only occur in situation where you are dropping packets.

                      Please send a note to support at ninjatrader dot com and let us know your having isuses with data and also you are seeing an orange connection state and we will want to troubleshoot this issue on its own.

                        For those of you that have posted in this thread and have not received an email from me yet, (Most of you should have).

                        Please send in a new note to support at NinjaTrader dot com ATTN Brett and send me the following file as an attachment.

                        My Documents->NinjaTrader 7->config.xml

                        I will then apply a patch to resolve the issue and send this back to you for those users that are affected by this as an immediate fix for the issue until more permanent measures are put in place.

                          OK...i'm back and checked the Data again:

                          - All in Sync and no delayed data.... with new " CONFIG.xml file.
                          - Zen-Fire now even faster as Kinetick ( only Milliseconds )

                          --> For me, the issue (delayed data) can be closed...but I will watch next week closly.

                            When more permanent measures are put in place will merely logging in to NT after the fix be adequate or will a new install be necessary?

                            Also will fix apply to NT7.2 and NT7.3 and what is ETA for fix?

                            Since, I may need a new Config.xml file as well. I need to know before starting trading on Sunday afternoon.

                              Will have further update on this when we have more information on what a more permanent resolution will entail here as it seems to only effect a small number of users. We are working together with Zenfire to help them understand the nature of the issue, and we are looking into possible causes of why this would occur as we further investigate the issue.

                                - controlled Data on havy speed (CL) Zenfire / Kinetick.

                                -->There is no delay/ lagging Data any more with the new CONFIG.XML file

                                (i'm stopping reporting)
