    Nt dom delay can't fix

    I'm using Ninja Trader with a free trial Zenfire feed and my DOM has a delay of close of about 15-20 seconds.

    I've been trading in a trading room for a couple of weeks and haven't noticed the problem up until a few days ago.

    Restarting my router and computer did not work - getting a different trial data feed from a different broker did not work. Changing all my delay times in "Options > Simulator" to 0.5 or 0 did not work.

    There is another Australian in the room who is using a paid version of NT with a live account and Zen fire data feed and he is also experiencing the same problem. When I first open NT it seems in sync but immediately the DOM price action falls a long way behind what I'm seeing on the trading room moderator's charts. Occasionally it seems to move extremely fast to catch up but most of the time it falls well behind. There is no problem with my computer or internet connection.

    Can anyone assist me with this or have come across this issue?

    Can you please tell me which version of NinjaTrader you are using, NT V6.5.1000.19 or NT V7.0.1000.2? You can check this under Help--> About.

      - What NinjaTrader version - 7.0.1000.2
      - What other trial feeds did you try - I think the first one was directly from the Zen-Fire website and the second one was sent by Mirus
      - Where are you physically located? Brisbane, Australia. My friend who is trading live and also suffering from the same problem is in Melbourne, Australia.

          Hello ShaunMP,

          Thank you for that information.

          • Please go to the Tools menu--> select Account Connections--> highlight the connection--> click Remove
          • Restart NinjaTrader
          • Please go to the Tools menu--> select Account Connections and recreate the account connection.

            I did this exact process last night....exactly as you've described. This did not fix my problem.

            I have 6 DOM's open and opening T&S for just one of them (CL) brought them back in sync. No idea why. I closed T&S and now they are still in sync....

                  Hi, I registered because I'm consistently having delays as well. My room colleague (ShaunMP) has tried to help but I still keep getting random delays, especially during high volume times (like the open and news). The average delay is between 3-7seconds, which is quite frustrating.

                  I'm running a leased version of NT using an AMP Live brokerage account.
