Window names disappear upon loading starting NinjaTrader

Whenever I restart NinjaTrader it automatically reloads the last workspace, in my case one with some 30 instruments. However, all window names are blank in the window list, I have to click on every single instrument to make the window name show. Please see attached picture.

Is this a known issue?

Thank you for your post.

The name of the chart should populate once the workspace completes loading, but if you go to Help > Mail to Support and then please send an email to support and include your workspaces we can test this issue further with your particular workspace.

I see this as well, generally the first 5 chart windows are OK, the following windows lose their title.

Thank you for your post.

In speaking with development we have identified this issue. Presently you can left-click to open the chart and then view the title if the titles do not populate automatically, otherwise the title from the taskbar may not display until the chart is viewed.

This issue hasn't been fixed and it is pretty annoying. When will there be a fix?

I do understand your frustration, but I'm afraid that this issue remains currently. A change remains on developments list of considerations for the future, but there's not currently any ETA for the change. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you in the meantime.

There's also another thing I don't quite understand: the order of the windows isn't the same upon reloading a workspace. If the order of the windows is X Y Z as I close the workspace, it could be Z X Y upon reloading. Why is that?

Hello JakobR,

Unfortunately the window sequence in the Windows task bar is not saved. It can load in a different order as you report. However the windows should open at the same location on your monitor as you saved the workspace.
