NT 7.0.1000.4 PFG Connection problems

Just installed version 7.4 and PFGAPI 1.0.463 :
Getting an error when i attempt to connect:
Login failed: Cbi.Connection.ConnectNow: Failed to call |Adapter.Connect: Method not found: ‘Void PFGTRDAPI._PFGAPI.set_HostApplicationID(System.Str ing)’.

Suggestions?

Thank you for reporting this issue.

I've worked with a few other users who were forced to reinstall to resolve the issue. I'd like you to backup, reinstall and then restore your settings by following these steps:

1.) Backup:
Please create a backup of your settings using the steps listed at the following link: http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...up_archive.htm

You will also need to save a copy of your license key. You will find the key listed in the Help > License Key menu.


2.) Reinstallation:
After backing up, please follow the steps listed below to completely uninstall and reinstall NinjaTrader:

1. Close all running applications.
2. Then from the Start menu select --> Control Panel --> Add and Remove Programs.
3. From Add and Remove Programs select NinjaTrader 7 and click Remove.
4. Then manually delete the folder "NinjaTrader 7" located under Start --> My Documents.
5. Delete any NinjaTrader installation files. This can be done by going to Start --> My Computer --> Search button --> search for (NinjaTrader*) --> select Local C Disk and then press search.
6. Then you will need to clear your internet browser cache and history. You will clear this from within your internet browser (with IE, Tools-->Options, delete cookies and files, clear history).
7. Reboot your machine.
8. Once these steps are completed, download NT7 from the link below:

3.) Restoring Settings:
Please restore your settings using the steps listed here:

you should integrate a reinstall-button in ninjatrader. i need that more often than anything else!

Hello, I have two doubts in the different versions of NT. What's the difference between NT Version R4 and NT 7.0. 1000.4?.
When I run my NT 6.5 it tells me to update to NT 7.0. 1000.4, but when I run NT 7 it tells me to update to Version R4.

I am on Windows 7, is it solved the problem with the SP1??

Thank you for your post.

R4 is the same thing as NT 7.0.1000.4

You will need to follow the specific instructions on the installation page when downloading R4. Once you have this version installed, you should not have any issues with SP1
