DAX backfill

I loaded the dax with the 24/7 session and I only see data from 0300 to 1700 or so. Do you not provide 24/7 data backfill for the dax?

The provider is TT, it's a 144 tick chart.

Unfortunately TT only provides Futures data. In order to view the DAX Index you must connect to a data provider that offers this data.

If you are looking for a data provider only for real time and historical data I recommend using Kinetick: (Our Preferred Data Feed Service Built Specifically for NinjaTrader 7) which provides historical Tick, Minute and Daily data for Equities, Futures and Forex.

TT does not to my knowledge provide any backfill at all--it's you, NT, that provides backfill for me. I have DAX quotes coming in just fine on my TT broker feed.

Correct we record this data from TT to our historical data servers for customers use however we only record Futures data at this time.

The DAX isn't a futures instrument? The data that came up, as I mentioned in the first post, was simply not 24/7--the data must be coming from somewhere--maybe you can tell me, if you don't provide backfill for the DAX, and TT doesn't provide it, why is it on my chart?

Correct the DAX instrument is an Index instrument as apposed to a Futures instrument. I have tested this on my end and not able to receive data when connected to TT. Were you previously connected to another data provider that offered this data? If so this may be data within your Cache file.

I have not used a different data provider in about a month, and I'm getting data from the last several days. It's definitely coming from you, unless TT is providing this one.

You may want to verify with your broker if they offer this data real time as I am not receiving this data on my end when testing.
