    Sometimes Multiple accounts show up in Chart Trader

    Sometimes I get multiple accounts showing up in my Account window in Chart Trader. I can't tell exactly what they are because of the limited width of the account window. Some of the account name is cut off.

    If i shut down and reload, the problem goes away but shows back up after awhile. I'm not sure what causes it.

    My account name is 29 characters and in the "account" window in Chart Trader only 22 characters are visible.

    I'm assuming the correct account is simply duplicated and the longer I go without shutting down and reloading Ninja Trader, the more duplicates I have.

    I'm wondering if the long account name is causing some sort of overflow problems.

    It makes me uncomfortable selecting and account in chart trader not being able to see exactly what I'm selecting.

    Any one seen anything like this?

    Thank you for your post.

    We would need to review the diagnostics to determine the nature of the overflow issue. Please send your most recent Log & Trace files for when this occurred.

    You can send them through the NinjaTrader platform by going to Help > Mail to Support…

    Please include a reference to this forum thread.

        Hello Taddypole,

        Could you please send us your log and trace files manually. You can find log and trace files at the following locations.

        Start Menu--> My Documents--> NinjaTrader 7--> Log--> log.20110317 for today. (log.yyyymmdd for any other date)

        Start Menu--> My Documents--> NinjaTrader 7--> Trace--> trace.20110317 for today. (trace.yyyymmdd for any other date)

        Please send them to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com and reference this forum thread.

          Just wanted to report after removing and updating to the latest release of 7.0.1000.4 live, I have had no further issues.
