    Standard Edition Message

I am using NT7 as a trial, comparing the features to MT4. I keep getting messages that if I upgrade to the Standard edition, I get more features.
Is the trial, demo, version I am currently using not fully-featured? I am planning to attend the 30 minutes seminar, but can't wondering what I am missing?

At this point, after 5 days of use, I am impressed and frustrated with NT 7. Impressed with all the useful features over MT4. Impressed by the support and user manual you guys have created. Frustrated with all the bugs that shouldn't be present in a 7.0 release of the product.

I tie into MB trading for quotes. Sometimes the price updates get locked up.
I found that there are phantom orders being placed, I found that my Sell stop this mornings hit until the price went up through then back down. The was the second time price had gone through, but it wasn't triggered on the first time. For now, I will keep on plugging away, hopefully things will get better. I really like NT7, but can't afford for little things to kill my profitability.
    Thanks
    Steve

    Hi Steve,

    Thank you for your post.

Regarding the Standard Edition, NinjaTrader is free and includes all software features for simulated trading, and so if you have connected to MB Trading you can use all NinjaTrader features for simulated trading of real-time MB Trading data within NinjaTrader.

Then if you wish to trade live that is when you would purchase a Live Edition License, which includes all the same features with that added ability to trade live.

            Hi Laredo:

The 4 payments of $299 occur monthly from the time of purchase. For example, if you purchase today (May 23rd), your payment schedule would be as follows...

            May 23rd - First payment of $299
            June 23rd - Second payment of $299
            July 23rd - Third payment of $299
Aug 23rd - Fourth and final payment of $299.

Then you would be paid in full for the lifetime license after Aug 23rd.

            Thanks,

            Ryan

                Hi Laredo:

Yes, the Direct Edition license does include access to the External datafeed to run an external feed into NinjaTrader such as your example below.

                Thanks,

                Ryan

                    Hi Laredo:

To clarify, the external feed is available with the Direct Edition to run external data via File > Connect > External feed.

However, Mirus is correct, in order to enable the ATI (Automated Trading Interface) and utilize NinjaScript, a Standard Edition NinjaTrader license is required.

                    Thanks,

                    Ryan

What would the "external feed" allow you to connect to feed wise? Yahoo or soemthing..what is that?
