Execute order on same candle

Is it possible to tell nijatrader to execute a long order on a trade without waiting for the bar to close . All I want nijatrader to do is; if a candle reaches 20 ticks upwards ( from low to high) to go long right away. Not on the second candle.

You would have to set CalculateOnBarClose to false. If you do so, remember the load that it puts on your computer resources.

Hello,

This will work in live. However is this a backtest or historical processing? If thats the case then there is no way to change this. NinjaTrader will always open a position at the open price of the next bar as we felt this is the best way for more realistic backtesting.

You must always run COBC = True on Historical.

What you can do however is do whats known as adding granularity to your backtest if you need more granularity.
