fLife, we talk here specifically for the XAUUSD access on IB. IB lists it as commodity type product, which for NT7 could not be accessed. For our next major update this is actively reviewed by development at the moment and I will provide an update shortly.

Hi All,

Is there any update for XAUUSD in connection with Interactive Brokers. I´m trying to bind the contact below.

The problem is I´m not able to find the exchanges written on the website. Is there a way to add extra exchanges under Instrument Editor ->Definition -> Exchanges..

Dear Ninjatrader

I have an IB account and like the others on this thread wish to be able to chart/ trade spot gold (XAUUSD).

IB's instrument type for XAUUSD is 'commodity'. NT8 does not appear to offer this instrument type, and so I assume that this is the cause of the incompatibility. Please confirm this, and that XAUUSD data from IB cannot be accessed.

For more than five years your customers have been requesting this basic facility. If it is the case that XAUUSD feed data still cannot be accessed from IB on Ninjatrader then I suggest you fix this a.s.a.p. as a courtesy for their patience.

in 2014 they mentioned it would be in nt8... has there been any news as i still cannot access this in nt8... i see others have posted so just adding a request for this...maybe it should be placed on the nt8 forum so it is actually read?
