    Help please!

    I wanted to import a new indicator, but the Ninja sent this message: You have custom NinjaScript files on your PC that have programming errors. These errors must be resolved before you can import a NinjaScript Archive File.
    I guessed I knew the file with problem, but it desappeared from the "File editor" archive.
    Please, what I have to do?

    Hello barrosco,

    Please follow the instructions below to see where the errors are located after compiling any indicator or strategy. This will allow you to debug the indicator/strategy or remove it from your PC. If you're wondering why you receive an error when compiling only one indicator or strategy, it is because NinjaTrader compiles all indicators and strategies - not just one.

    1) Open NinjaTrader
    2) Go to Control Center -> Tools -> Edit NinjaScript -> Indicator
    3) Select any indicator and double click on it.
    4) A new window will appear and you will need to right click and select Compile - all NinjaScript files will now be compiled
    5) At the bottom of the window a new section will appear were you can find the error locations. Double click the error and you will be directed to the location of the error.
    6) From there you have the option to debug the indicator or remove it.

    You can delete NinjaScript files via Control Center-->Tools-->Edit NinjaScript-->Indicator/Strategy, highlight it and select Delete.

    You can find general debug information at the link below.


    If you cannot remove the indicator or debug the error, please send me a screenshot of the entire error that appears after compiling.

    To send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CRTL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.

      Hi Jason,
      Thanks for your answer.
      I made the process you recomend me, but arrived in this response:
      "Unfortunately we do not have NinjaScript context based Help information on this specific error code. You can check the Microsoft MSDN site section on error codes for futher information."
      Please, what I have to do?

          Problem

          Jason,
          I have two monitors, so the system save both sides and the Ninja upload to not make it. Please, what to do?
          I made a page with the informations with each part of the complie informe but the upload problem continued

            Can you please send me the screenshot at support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com. Please put 'Attn Jason' in the subject header and reference this forum thread.

            If the screenshot is larger than 3 MB, please zip the file first. Highlight the file on your PC and right click your mouse. Select Send to-->Compressed (zipped) folder. Subsequently send the .zip file.
