    IQfeed

    Hello

    Thank you for your post.

The symbols roots used in NinjaTrader’s can be located by going to Tools > Instrument Manager and then selecting the ‘Type’ & clicking the “search” button.

If you want to review the symbol mapping for IQFeed for a particular contract you can double-click on the symbol of interest & then navigate to the “Misc” tab.

For IQFeed symbol lookup, you can check out the following: link

      Iqfeed

      Hi,

I am having some problems setting up an IQFEED symbol in ninjatrader. Can somebody help me with setting up QBY, the brent wti spread on nymex/clearport ? A screenshot of the correct inputs in instrument manager would be very helpful.

      Thanks

        Hello syxforex,

So I may better assist you, can you please tell me what errors you received on the Log tab of the Control Center when opening this either into a chart or from the Orders tab of the Control Center?

NinjaTrader force IQFeed Connection Manager logging

          Hello,

I have been in contact with IQFeed support regarding disabling the IQFeed Connection Manager logging and they told me I could do this in the registry, but when doing this by setting the IQFeed LogLevel string to "0" the value get forced back to 0x00001802 (6146) when reconnecting with NinjaTrader.

I have again spoken to IQFeed support about this problem, but they said that this is out of their hands since it is the program connecting with IQFeed Connection Manager that is causing this.

Since I am connecting with NinjaTrader when the registry string is changed the next solution seems to be with NT. Is there a way to prevent NinjaTrader from doing this?

          Thank you.

            Hello,

            Thanks for the note.

Unfortunately there is no way in NinjaTrader to change this functionality. I will let development know of the demand to change this.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

Thank you very much for the follow up Brett.

It would have been nice to have control with this.
