Zen fire data

Hi,

Downloaded the mirus futures zen fire demo yesterday.

In the intraday data, it only goes back 2 days, does it not got back any further?

What version of NinjaTrader are you using? You can check under Help -> About
What instrument have you selected?
(For a chart) what interval is selected?
Is there an error message listed in the Log tab of the Control Center

My version is 7.0.1000.4

The problem is with the following instruments:

ES 06-11
Z 06-11
FDAX 06-11
FGBL 06-11
NQ 06-11
YM 06-11

I've tried it on 5, 15, 30 and 60 minute charts.

There is no error message in the log tab.

Please go to Tools > Options > Data and make sure that your Merge Policy is set to MergeBackAdjusted.

Then within the charts can you please right-click on the chart and then select Data Series and increase the number of days to load to about 15.

That worked.

One more thing, there is a spike in the weekly FDAX and FGBL, anyway of rectifying that?

Also how long does the daily go, on mine it is last may?

Spoke too soon, when i go to daily from intraday and then back to intraday it loses the number of days settings I set.

That spike is where a value of zero is being plotted and you can modify this to remove that spike using the Historical Data Manager to edit the data to exclude that data from a chart.

When changing the data series the default values will be used for intraday and weekly charts, and so you will want to modify the default values so that they do not revert to the standard defaults.

Something odd has happened, I just opened NT (10.15am GMT) and all the data has started as if this is the new session i.e no data prior to 10.15am..

In fact everytime i switch instruments and go back it starts afresh again

Any help/pointers appreciated.

Hi,

To retrieve 24/7 data on a chart, please follow the directions below.

• Right click in your chart and select Data Series.
• In the Data Series menu, set the "Session Template" property to "Default 24/7", then click OK.

In addition, Zen-Fire doesn't provide historical Daily data. What you might want to try is to select a 1440 Minutes chart, this represents a daily bar as well.
