Text alignment in charts

When I use the text drawing tool, each line of text is centered. How do I left-align every line like a normal text paragraph?

Okay, would it be too much to ask that you change the default alignment to left, as we're dealing with text? The advantage to left-aligning is that one can annotate a chart as such:

1. Selling climax
2. Further push down on lower volume
3. Reversal bar

It lines up nice and neat. Compare that with this on your chart:

1. Selling climax
2. Further push down on lower volume
3. Reversal bar

Put another way, can you think of a reason why you would want to center the text? Perhaps the best solution would be to give the user the option to align the text however he sees fit.

Additionally, as someone who annotates charts, and most traders do this from time to time at least, it would be nice to be able to have one less click to get to the font properties. Currently you do this with an additional dialog. The dialog is inefficient with its use of space and you probably use it because it's a stock layout, but a much better option would be to use a drop-down box for the font, size, and style fields on the main dialog. If you use the drop-down instead of the current space-wasting input fields in the font dialog, you will have plenty of room to spare.

If it is still on the list, please add me as another person who has requested this.

In 2 years of using NT, I haven't been able to think of a scenario where centered text on a chart is ever the preferred option. Chart annotations with more than one line are incredibly difficult to read when centered.

Honestly this shouldn't be that big of a deal to do....centered text is just a pain...end up having to take snag-it shot and use their editor to add text to my charts
