tick charts

I am using IB and cannot get my tick charts (500,1500,4500) to update. I downloaded the Better Sine indicators from an outside source but the charts were not displaying prior to that download. I cannot receive prior data either.

Welcome to the NinjaTrader forums. Unfortunately IB does not provide historical tick data. For more information, see the following link, then Understanding the data provided by your connectivity provider

You may consider supplementing your IB feed with a data only provider such as Kinetick or eSignal.

I am not looking for historical, just the real time data that IB offers. I have received a fatal close message and sent a trace file to support. I am just looking to have real time tick charts displayed

I see- thanks for the follow up. Will keep an eye out for your support ticket. Do you happen to have the ticket # assigned by the autoresponder?
