Freezing using 64 bit

    Hello,

    Unfortunately I would be out of idea's why that would occur. There is something on the one PC that is causing the execution to be slower. Unfortunately I would not know what that could be.

    Are you sure the strategies and indicators installed on both PC's are exactly the same?

      Hi Brett - Forgive me if I'm in the wrong thread, but thought I'd chime in here. I've been having freezing issues for some time as well. I've reinstalled NT and all my indicators. i've been through hardware support, Indicator provider support and NT support. All to no avail. My issue is NT freezes (or stutters) for about half a second about every three seconds. Doesn't sound like much, but extremely annoying over the course of the day.

      The more indicators I pare back the better it gets. Except at this point I'm down to five charts and it's still happening. I suppose its been a good exercise in minimalist trading, but this can't be right considering what I've seen running on NT. Workspace load time is seriously slow as well. As far as I can tell, no other software on the machine is having issues. Computer is a Falcon trading System, with 8 CPU and 16GB RAM.

        Please send a note to Support [AT] NinjaTrader [DOT] com so that we can investigate.

        In your message, please include:
        1.) A link to this forum thread.

        2.) A copy of today's log and trace files.


        You will find the log file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Log folder.
        • The log file will be named "log.20111121.txt"

        You will find the trace file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.
        • The trace file will be named "trace.20111121.txt"
