Net TICK of Nasdaq 100 does not update on charts

I added this from the Kinetick symbol list as JT5T.Z. It is supposed to be the net tick of the Nasdaq 100.
I am logged on to Kinetick first and TT second.

The JT5T.Z displays fine on the Time and Sales window. For a while, it was updating on charts, but now charts of this symbol only show historical data.

So, as it stands now, the time and sales works fine but charts do not update. This suggests that OnMarketData events, but not OnBarUpdate events, are being generated.

I tried restarting Ninja and repairing the database.

Just tried refreshing (F5) the 1 minute chart of this symbol. The latest bar is from several minutes ago. Nothing happened when I refreshed, did not add any new bars.

Problem has gone away.. for now

I deleted the Nadaq tick from the instrument manager, where I had entered the Instrument Type as "Index". Then I created a new instrument for it, with Instrument Type as "Stock".

For a few minutes, the charts did update..

But then everything stopped working. No Time and Sales data, or chart data.

After fiddling around for about an hour, II shut down Ninja, rebooted, and restarted Ninja.

For now everything is working.

Hi Ricam,

I have a strong hunch that the reason you are seeing this behavior is that you have the symbol mapping entered in more than one location.

Try identifying all the instruments that you used the JT5T.Z symbol mapping, and delete them all from the Instrument Manager entirely (which will also delete them from any lists).

Then re-create the instrument with these settings:
Master Instrument: (user defined name) NASTICK for example
Instrument Type: Index
Tick Size: 1
Session Template: Default 24/7
Symbol Map: Kinetick: JT5T.Z
Exchange: Default
