In the Indicators dialog box, one can right-click on a property, and choose "Set Default For <indicator>" where <indicator> is the name of the indicator. I would like to know how to undo this i.e. how to make NinjaTrader forget about the value I have set, and use whatever the indicator uses as installed.
I ask for the following good reason. I am writing my own indicator, with several plots, which have changed as I developed it. Along the way I probably used "Set Default For" on some of them, and I now find that when I change the property (e.g. color) in my code, NinjaTrader continues to use the set default.
What is worse, NinjaTrader continues to show properties for plots that the indicator code no longer creates, and continues to use its idea of the name of a plot, even when the plot now has a different name. At one stage, as an experiment, I changed (in my code) the name of one plot to "Runcible". Now, no matter what I do, NinjaTrader shows a plot with that name among the properties for my indicator, even though "Runcible" no longer occurs in the code. There is also a plot there with a blank name, and I cannot get rid of that either.
