    unable to connect with zen fire

    hallo, this morning trying to connect to zen fire with my ninja, I was unable to do and the messagge was " Login failed : unable to login ( 10001 ) "
    any help ?

    Hi Max,

    Thank you for your post.

    Can you reboot your machine and then see if you can connect. If that doesn't work check your firewall settings, disable them and then try to connect.

      Login failed : unable to login ( 10001 )

      Since this morning I am not able to connect to Mirus (Zenfire). I am getting the following error.

      Login failed : unable to login ( 10001 )

      I have restarted the machine / router and still the same problem.

      When I try to logon to Mirus from a different laptop (just for checking my internet access) I am able to logon. But from this laptop when I try I keep getting the same problem. The Legacy API check box is enabled as well and I am using 000.6 version of your software with a live license key.

      Not sure what the problem is at this point of time.

      Any other troubleshooting I can do?
      Appreciate your help.

        This is Cameron responding on behalf of Vince.

        Please ensure that your PC clock is synced.

        You can sync your PC clock by double clicking on the clock in the lower right corner of your desktop. Once you have done that, click on Internet Time tab and then click Update. Your PC clock should now be updated.

              Internet is working ok and my account settings have not changed.

                To investigate this further can you please send a note to Support[AT]NinjaTrader[DOT]com.

                Please put ATTN: Cameron in the subject field and a link to this forum post in the body.

                Attach and email your Config.xml to the note so that I can investigate this issue further.

                    The Config.xml file is located in the Documents -> NinjaTrader 7 folder

                    Please attach and email the file in its original format.

                      Same issue:Login Failed. Please Check Your Internet Connection or Account Settings

                      Nothing has changed since my last login several hours ago. Can't access my live account, neither a just registered demo account.

                      Restarted PC, restarted router, reinstalled Ninja, nothing .

                      Edit: Mirus Futures demo works, AMP does not, live Dorman through Proactive does not.
                      Where the problem can be? Should I contact Proactive?

                          I'm having the same problem as Zapzap. i.e. Login Failed. Please Check Your Internet Connection or Account Settings

                          I tried his suggestion of getting a demo account from Mirus Futures, and it worked. Demo accounts from AMP Futures and Zen-fire didn't work. They have the login failed message above.

                            It could be that you are unable to access the Zen-Fire login servers.


                            If you have not yet, please restart your PC and any network hardware such as Modems or Routers.

                              I found a work around for this issue:

                              1. Made backup of templates and workspaces
                              2. Uninstall PFG API
                              3. Uninstall NT7
                              4. Manually delete NT7 folder in "My Documents" folder
                              5. Manually delete NT7 folder in "Program Files" folder
                              6. Reboot system
                              7. Re-install NT7
                              8. Re-install PFG API
                              9. Reboot system
                              10. Launch NT7 and restore backup file in step 1
                              11. Setup Account connection for Zenfire
                              12. Connect to Zenfire and it works
                              13. Setup Account connection for PFG Best
                              14. Connect to PFG Best and it works
                              15. Setup Account connection for AMP Futures
                              16. Connect to AMP Futures and it works

                              17. Setup my live trading account with Infinity Futures and it works

                              Note: Accounts in steps 11 to 16 were demo accounts that I got from yesterday to troubleshoot connection problem.

                              I know, it's a lot of work to get NT7 to connect to Zenfire. But at least I can trade now ...
