ChartTrader Hot Key for Close

[Turtle Trader]

It doesn't look like there is a hot key for ChartTrader to Close...the same as clicking on the Close button...am I missing something?

If it is not there can you please add it to the Wish List?

Thank you for your post.

With NinjaTrader 7 you can setup a custom Hot Key to open and close Chart Trader.

• From the Control Center -> Tools -> Hot Key Manager
• Select Chart -> Scroll to the bottom til you see 'Show Chart Trader'
• Set the custom key press 'OK'

Now, when a chart is selected, you can press your custom hot key to show Chart Trader (enable/disable).

need to clarify

This would not be to show/hide ChartTrader, but to Close the current position and to cancel any active ATMs.

Is there a way to do that with a hot key?

Thank you for the clarification.

You can define a custom hot key for Close Position or Close ATM Strategy.

• From the Control Center -> Tools -> Hot Key Manager
• Select Order Entry
• Set a custom hot key for Close Position.

Is the hot key manager availble for order enrty only for paid version? It did not give me an option to mark check so I can assign keys.

Order entry hot keys are not available to Direct Edition users.

I am using the Free Edition License and I am able to use the Order Entry Hot Keys.
