    "Data feed" not connecting to Rithmic / Vision?

    Hi,

    I've been using NT 6.5 with Rithmic/Vision for years, am now migrating to 7.0.

    I've noticed that the first time I open up NT7 and try to connect to my Rithmic/Vision account, the primary connection goes through, but the data feed is stuck on "connecting".

    If I then disconnect and reconnect, data feed seems to go through fine.

    If I then close NT7 and re-open, data feed again fails to connect. Is this just me? No one else noticing this? I've submitted this to Rithmic as well, just wondering if you guys know anything.

    This is with NT7 .5.

    Thank you for your post.

    Can you please remove, and and then recreate the connection to Vision rather than the migrated connection from 6.5:
    • Please go to the Tools menu--> select Account Connections--> highlight the connection--> click Remove
    • Restart NinjaTrader
    • Please go to the Tools menu--> select Account Connections and recreate the account connection.

      Yep, that did it! Thanks.

      And on IQFeed... I used to enter the account/password into their client, but now I see I'm supposed to type it into Ninja. I'll have to update that as well.

        With IQFeed the API is still necessary NinjaTrader will populate the contents of the login information for the API based on what is included within the application, but you will still have to login through the API by connecting manually or enabling auto-connect.
