    Hello,

    Thanks for your post.

    Depending on your system and the size of your database it can take a long time to reset. Most users can reset within 30 seconds however some have reported it to take hours on larger database files. You will need to leave NinjaTrader untouched until it completes.

    I am happy to assist you.

    Could you please send a message to [email protected] describing your issue? Also, could you please attach your log/trace?

    You will find the log file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Log folder.

    The log file will be named "log.YYYYMMDD.txt"

    You will find the trace file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.

    The trace file will be named "trace.YYYYMMDD.txt"

    The YYYY is the year, the MM is the month, and DD is the day. It would be most beneficial if we had the log and trace from the day you experienced this issue.

    I am unable to clear history by using tools-options-simulator-reset or tools-options-data-reset db. In each case the program locks up. I'm only using the sim account. I'm using 7.0.1000.7.

    Hello Torso,

    Thank you for your post.

    You may remove all previous trade history by going to Tools-->Options-->Data tab-->Reset DB. Keep in mind this will erase all trade history for live and simulation accounts. If you only want to remove simulation trades each Sim account willl need to be reset individually.

    I have several SimAccounts. A reset of the account is possible about ... Options -> Simulator Tab -> Reset ... simulation Account (enable "clear history").

    The history of the SimAccounts must be cleared one at a time.

    Can I delete all history the same time?
