    No weekly/monthly historical data post upgrade

    Hi all,

    After last nights upgrade to the lastest verion of NT7..10006, I have been noticing that I no longer get weekly and monthly historical data for CL-07. The screens come up blank, there are no error messages. All other charts are fine: daily, other timed charts, and volume. Can someone assist? I believe that the previous verion of NT7 that I was running on was 1000.6. Thanks in advance.

    Hello Spartacus,

    Thanks for writing in to report this.

    What you've encountered here is, unfortunately, a known issue with the .6 release. We're working to correct this right now, but in the meantime you should be able to load the data by switching your session template to the 'Default 24/7' setting.

    Please follow the directions below.
    • Right click in your chart and select Data Series.
    • In the Data Series menu, set the "Session Template" property to "Default 24/7", then click OK.

      Thanks for your response. Ok, that's fine, but do you have a general idea as to when the fix will come; in days, weeks, or months?

          Kyle,

          I've tried to get daily and weekly data from Kinetick, I can sucessfully connect to them, but when requesting weekly data I don't get ant historical EOD weekly data.

          Is it as simple as just connecting to Kinetick to get EOD data? If so, I seem to be having problems getting it from Kinetick. Can you assist in telling me what I may be missing or doing wrong in attemting to get EOD from that data vendor?

            Hi Spartacus,

            It should be as easy as connecting to Kinetick EOD and creating the chart.

            Which instrument(s) are you attempting to chart? Are you seeing any error messages returned? If so, what do those messages report?

              Good day Kyle,

              No error messages, just a blank screen. Do I need to set some kind of setting on Ninja. By the way, Kyle, everytime I try to get EOD data from them, I make sure that KINETICK is the only live connection I have at the time.

                Hey Spartacus,

                Just to confirm, CL 07-11 is the only effected instrument or is this occurring with others as well?

                Are you applying the 'Default 24/7' template here as well?

                  I'm now getting Daily data from Kinetic. I applied the 24/7 template like you said and now I'm getting data, I forgot about your earlier post regarding that template. I now super imposed a 405 minute chart over the 24/7 template and am able to get daily session data. It's funny though, for the CL contract I get pit session daily data with just the 24/7 template, but I'm not going to complain about it.
