No stock charts with Kinetick nor Yahoo nor Google

After upgrading to the latest NT7 from the previous NT7, after repeated restarts, when connected to the Kinetick, yahoo, google datafeeds, I get blank new charts for many (maybe all) stocks, indexes every time. Charts for currencies show ok. Solution ? Thank you for your time and help.

    Hello monnn,

    Thank you for your post.

From the sounds of it, you're running in to a recently discovered bug in the .6 release.

Could you please switch the daily chart's session template to the 'Default 24/7' setting and tell me whether or not you see data?

To retrieve 24/7 data on a chart, please follow the directions below.
    • Right click in your chart and select Data Series.
    • In the Data Series menu, set the "Session Template" property to "Default 24/7", then click OK.

Thanks Cameron. After the change to the 24/7 setting in the Instrument Manager, it does show the charts now. But, i.e. BP symbol doesn't show split adjusted price series with neither datafeed even after restarting NT7.Yes, I checked the "Adjust for splits" box under Tools,Options,Data, Merge Policy "MergeBackAdjusted".

I hope the bug will be resolved.

somewhat related, I am using version .5 and have begun to see charts not updating and eventually will not load. Also, I am using a 5min chart that seems to slow down and certain functions cease to work. (e.g. right click menu, cursor) Other chart open at the same time do seem to work. Problem has gone from intermittent to a serious problem. Closing NT and restart computer allows NT to start but problem soon returns. I have been using Market Replay about the same time this started. Any ideas?

          billr,

Are you currently using any 3rd party or imported indicators?

          Monn,

As mentioned this was a recently discovered bug that we are looking to resolve as soon as possible.

            NT "No Data"

Sorry to jump in, but I just experienced the same problem this morning after upgrading to the .6 release. I'm running NT 64 bit.

The fix below (moving to 24/7 data series) worked for me.

I am using some custom indicators that I have written or modified.

Let me know if I can help or try out your bug fix.

            Chris

              Chris,

Thanks for letting us know about changing the template to 24/7 working for you.

billr's issue may deal with one or two specific custom indicators, however let me know if you experience any issues.
