    Good evening from Spain,

i would like to know if it possible to creat a indicator to see breakout and breakdown in Point and Figure charts and then use it with Market Analyzer on group of stocks.

    Thanks so much.

    Hello,

    Thanks for the forum post.

    Yes this is absolutely possible.

You can contact one of our NinjaScript consultants to assist you with coding this or you can use our NinjaScript guide and forums to code this indicator yourself if you are a programmer.

      Hello,

thanks for your quick replye. I would like to ask you something else about Kinetick connection for end of day. I don´t know, but i try to open charts with Kinetick End of Day (free) and i can´t do it. Is there any problem today?

Thank you very much in advance.

          Hello,

Is this with daily chart on a stock correct? In this case you need to change the session template to Default 24/7 to see the chart. This is a bug we are aware of to fix in next release.

            Hello Brett,

thank you for your reply. I have already been able to load a Point and Figure chart, but i have a problem with display, since i can´t see well the boxes in daily charts. I don´t know if it is a problem of settings. So, i attach a image.

            Could you help me, please?

            Thanks in advance,

            Nachig

              Hello,

              Sure no problem.

You need to use a bigger box size. As a box is drawn for each cent with default settings. You would want to increase this to something more meaningful on a daily chart. Such as if the range of a normal bar is 50 cents set this to 50 for example.

              Right Click->Data Series to set.

                Hello Brett,

                thank your for your reply.

I thought that size of the box was measured as percentage, not as absolute value. So, must i set this in every instrument?, if so, how can i do to use it with Market Analyzer?.

Thank you very much in adavance.

                  Hello,

Right this is an absolute value.

If you require different settings for PnF in the chart for different instruments, this would require a new market analyzer for each different chart settings unfortunately. Just as you require a new chart for each different PnF setting would also require a new Market Analyzer window.

What a lot of people do is find a bunch of stocks that work with the same settings or thereof and group them in the same MA. Then create a new MC for the lower priced stocks and another MA for the higher prices stocks so you can run different sensitivity settings for each one.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.
