What data am I getting from

File-> Utilities-> Download Replay Data. Where is this source from? What time zone is it operating in? And how far can does the data go back for?

This data is downloaded from the NinjaTrader servers and the time used will based off your PC clock in your time zone.

Users may download 1 year of Market Replay data from our servers currently.

Just one observation I made on $EURUSD...there are no prices during Asian hours until noon on Mondays. FX trading actually starts at 5am. Am I missing anything?

Was using the data downloaded for the above instrument for the period 5/24 to 6/13. Observed the same issue on 5/30 and 6/6.

Is there any way we can skip weekends?

Christopher, Another question I have is do we have to download data one day at a time and one instrument at a time? How do I export the data I've downloaded? Is that possible?

If you would like to remove weekend data please right mouse click within your chart-->Data Series-->Session Template-->Select "Default 24/5"-->Click Ok.

Unfortunately you may only download data for one instrument at a time however we have assigned this feature request ID #739 in our tracking system.

If you want to transfer Market Replay data to another PC the best way is to create a backup file and transfer this to restore on the other PC:

Guys, thanks for the answers you've provided thus far.

Just one more question which I had asked earlier but wasn't replied.

How do I get Monday's recording to start from 5am. Right now, it is starting at 12pm, missing about 7 hours of data for $EURUSD.

I tried changing the session template to one which was customised...that didn't work.

Please attach a screen shot of the settings you have applied for your custom Session Template and let me know what time zone you reside in.

Hi Christopher,

I reside in Singapore. The timezone should be GMT + 8:00.

I've also attached a screenshot of the replay data for $EURUSD.

Pls also look at the time on chart file I attached. After May 21 5am, the next print is May 23 5:03am. This does not correlate with the replay data.

When you connect to your data provider and open a chart do you see this data populated with the Session template set to "Default 24/7"?

Forex session template. The minute data is uploaded to NT7.

I have tested this on my and this gap appears to be due to the weekend and the market being closed during this time.

Hi Christopher,

1) You correctly identified that it is the weekend.
2) You still need to find out why the commencement time for Monday is at noon IF the time taken is the PC time, FX is slightly longer than 24/5...
3) The other point I've been trying to make is that in Asia, FX starts trading at 5am in Asia...it doesn't start at 12pm...could you please find an explanation for that? Your market replay chart wouldn't be very helpful if you could use it one week at a stretch because 7 hours on trading data every Monday is missing. Doesn't sound quite right, does it?
4) if your FX market replay data starts at 12pm on Monday, what time zone would that be?
