    reinstalling 5 level

    I've been getting various data problems and "GPFs" with the new 6 level.. How do I reinstall the 5 level.. Tried installer but would not install 5 , said " newer 6 was installed",, good grief!!

    Thanks for the forum post.

    What do you mean GPF's? If you would like I can assist on your .6 release to help you get up and going. If you just want to downgrade please uninstall NinjaTrader from start->control panel->programs->remove NinjaTrader 7.

    ****No settings or saved data will be lost.

      the gpfs are more elegant now, but the bottom line is the same.. got this several times yesterday..

      also I dont get email alerts anymore when u update issues,, I did not change anything in my profile, and no its not going to spam etc.. Always got notification before.....

        Can you please send me your trace files for today so I can look into this, I will need both files attached to a return email.

        You can find these files at the following locations, please attach these to a return email as an attachment

        There are two attachments I need in total.

        My Documents--> NinjaTrader 7--> Trace--> trace.XXXXXXXX.txt (YYYYMMDD.txt)

        My Documents--> NinjaTrader 7--> Log--> log.XXXXXXXX.txt (YYYYMMDD.txt)


        If the files combined are larger than 8mb in size. I will not be able to receive it via email. Please send them via filexpressit.com instead and reference the ticket number in the subject line.

          Data Retrieval Problems

          Hello Brett:

          I am having the same problem after installing the most recent version of NT7. I can only retrieve daily data when I use Default 24/5 or Default 24/7 on both Kinetick and TD Ameritrade. I cannot simply "Use Instrument Settings" to retrieve data for a chart. I am emailing my trace and log files to NinjaTrader support. Thanks.

            Hello tonyh,

            Thank you for your post.

            This is a known issue with the 7.0.1000.6 release of NinjaTrader which we hope to correct soon. In the meantime, the Default 24/X templates will need to be used when loading daily data.
