    Chart Panels Blanking

    Version 64-bit 7.0.1000.6

    I have a Chart with 6 panels.
    Panel 1, an indicator.
    Panel 2, price and indicators, with 3 data series, ES 1 min, 5 min & 30 min, with 3 days of data.
    Panels 3, 4, 5 & 6 are indicators.

    Using ES 06-11 there are no problems. When I change the chart to ES 09-11, using the pop up window click on the top left of the chart, Panels 3, 4, 5 & 6 are completely blank. There is nothing, beginning with the divider line at the bottom of Panel 2, until the bottom line of the chart panel line with the time tick mark dividers. The line & ticks are there, but the times are not. Is this a new feature with the last upgrade ? How can I get the panels to display ?

    Thanks for your post. This isn't something I've run in to before.

    If you remove and then re-add the indicators, do they then plot normally?

      I NOW have a Chart (brand new) with 1 panel.
      Panel 1, price and 1 indicator, with 1 data series ES 1 min, with 3 days of data.

      Using ES 06-11 there are no problems. When I change the chart to ES 09-11, using the pop up window click on the top left of the chart, some of the indicator lines display, and the chart freezes. But, oh boy, the times on the time tick marks are back !!

      The indicator is custom one, I wrote, which does a few calculations, plots some lines, draws some lines, writes a bit of text on the chart and has few alerts. I've made NO changes to the indicator in several weeks, at least, maybe months and have been using it in some form since NT6.5. The problem, upgrading to the latest version, Version 64-bit 7.0.1000.6 (from like Version 64-bit 7.0.1000.3, I think) and rollover kinda all happened together.

      Think hard, what's changed that would cause this ?

        Hi BGWTEX,

        Thanks for the clarification on the indicator.

        Could you please see if you're able to recreate the issue using only indicators which were included with NinjaTrader by default? Does the issues presence require that the custom indicator be used?

          Hi Kyle,
          It seems the issues presence requires that the custom indicator be used. I loaded about 29 indicators and had 10 panels & all them squiggly lines jus' kept on truckin' all over the ES 09-11. Even the "Door bell" price alert worked......

                Brett found MY error for me. I had the following code which had "no place to go" when I rolled over to the "ES 09-11".

                if (Instrument.FullName == "ES 06-11")
                {

                coding
                }
