    cannot load stock data

    Hi NT experts,

I cannot load stock data anymore, no matter which data provider is (broker, yahoo, kinetics, etc.).

For the same stock symbols, if i have the charts before in a workplace, then the charts can still load data, all time frames. But with newly opened charts, they simply won't load any data at all.

I don't have issue with curreny pairs though.

    Any thoughts?

    Hello,

    Thank you for your post.

Please answer the following questions so I may further assist:
    • What version of NinjaTrader do you currently have installed which can be found under Help-->About.
    • What data provider are you connected to first, second, etc.?
    • What instrument are you attempting to view?
    • What time interval chart are you attempting to load?

I look forward to assisting you further with this issue.

        Hello,

Please use the steps I have provided below to add SPY to your Instument Manager:
        • Connect to only the Kinetick End of Day (Free) connection
        • Tools
        • Instrument Manager
        • Remove SPY from your Default list if it has been added
        • Seleect SPY within the Available master instrument list
        • Delete
        • File
        • New
        • Chart
        • Open a chart of an instrument that currently loads correctly such as EURUSD
        • Once the chart opens begin typing SPY within your chart window
        • Hit Enter
This will then bring up the SPY instrument and will then be available within your Instrument Manager and you may add this instrument to your Default list.

          This fix works. Thanks.
