    Market data for SFE

    Hi

I was wondering if there are any market data providers I can use with ninja trader that offer data from the Sydney Futures Exchange.

I currently use Interactive Brokers but there data is very poor.

    Cheers

    Hello,

I believe eSignal will offer SFE data, but I cannot comment on the quality.

Unless another member and offer their experience here, I would suggest checking with our supported data providers directly:

      Thanks Matthew.

      Another question.

Is it possible to use NT with CQG market data and IB as the broker?

      Cheers

        Hello,

Yes, it would be possible to connect to both CQG and IB, however since CQG is a broker, you will need to purchase a multi-broker license in order to connect to both IB and CQG.

Click here for more information on Multiple Connections

Since Kinetick, eSignal, IQFeed, etc, are dedicated data providers, you can connect to these data providers and IB using a single broker license.

          Thanks again Matthew.

So I assume that when I purchase the multi-broker license, I will be able to use CQG for data and execute trades with IB?

            Hello,

Correct - When connecting to data provider and your broker, you have some options. The first option would be best in your case, however I'm offering examples of all your options.

            1. Connect to data provider first then to your broker. This setup will get all live and historical data from your data provider, and still allow you to execute trades to your broker.

            2. Or, connect to your broker first, then to your data provider, with historical data disabled on your broker. This will allow you to get live data from your broker, and all historical data from your data provider, and will also use your data provider as a backup.

            3. Or, connect to your broker first, then to your data provider, with historical data enabled on your broker. This will get live data and any available historical data from your broker, and will allow you to use your data provider for historical data not offered by your broker, and will also use data provider as a backup.
