Simex SGX Nikki 225 mini&big

Can I and if so how to set up the mini and big Nikki 225 traded on the Singapore Futures Exchange "SGX". The TWS@IB symbol is N225U for the big contract and SGXNKM for the mini.......??? If anyone knows which is the more liquid advise would be appreciated....Or if anyone knows which is best contract on SGX that trades like the EuroFX on the CME advise please... Looking for liquidty and nice back/fill trending price action @SGX time zone for daytrading after dinner in Chicago....

The Interactive Brokers website lists several Nikkei 225 contracts. First of all, you have the SGX: Nikkei 225 futures contract. The correct symbol is NK and the currency is Japanese Yen. This contract is tradable with IB, so my guess is you were referring to this contract. However, they do not have a mini and a big contract.

They do provide a mini and big indices contract, the SGX: Nikkei 225 mini and the SGX: Nikkei 225. However, they are not tradable with IB, they are only used for informational purposes. You can find more information at the following link regarding the Nikkei and IB.

Is this still the case with Nikkei on IB? It's shown on the IB site under both Futures and Indicies sections now.

If it's available, could you please provide the setup instructions?
