ninja 6.5 vs ninja 7

I am just converting to ninja 7, not my choice.
Need to be able to learn how to start my 24 hr day at the 930 eastern open and not at 12am midmight. this was easily done in ninja 6.5 but i cant seem to figure it out in ninja7.

Thank you for your post.

The chart begin and end times are now configured using session tempaltes and the session maanger.

For a 24 hour chart to start at 9:30, you will need to create a custom session template.

That was a BIG help.
Do have one question. When I add any indicators to a chart for some reason I am getting a second set of price bars on my chart some even going forward in time.
Any ideas as to what I did wrong?

Can you clarify what indicator you are adding to your chart?

Seems that I found the culprit. I was using a script called called candle clear. Once I removed it, everything normal.

Is there a N7 version of this script or can you somehow select that the
price bars lay on top of any price panel indicators like pivots mavg's etc.?

Hi davidjrjr,

I'm not aware of a NT 7 version of this script, but it could be created with custom programming.

In the meantime, you should be able to use Z-order to overlay the pricebars on other indicators. More informaiton about adjusting Z-order is available here: http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...ng_a_chart.htm
