    Missing Zen Fire data

    After connecting to Zen Fire, there is a gap of most of today's data on every instrument I pull up. I receive the following message in my log:

    "Unable to connect to Ninjatrader data server (64.202.118.179/31654). No such host is known."

    Same exact issue here. Not even disseminating bid/ask. I take it to mean that Zen Fire historical and RT server is down.

      Hello mrpowerballad,

      Thank you for your post.

      Do you receive the same error if you right click on the chart and select "Reload all historical data".

      The error you are reporting indicates something is preventing your PC from reaching our data servers. If you have not yet, I would suggest restarting your PC as well as any network hardware such as a modem or router.

      Please let me know if you need further assistance.

        Reload all historical data is greyed out when connected to Zenfire.

        I even deleted the connection and created a new one thinking it had something to do with the recent Zen-fire critical advisory #7.

          Thanks for reporting guys - there have been issues with the Zen-Fire real-time connection and I can reproduce the historical data at this point.

          I will update this thread once I have more information.

              Historical Seems to be back up. RT though, still doesn't give bid/ask on the SuperDom. That'll probably correct itself in a while seeing as how the Historical server is back.

                Hello,

                The historical data server had an error around 6:30PM MST and is back up running at 7:30PM, however the Level 2 data is not running at this point.

                    Hello Everyone,

                    The Zen-Fire Level II data stream is back online. If you're still experiencing issues, please try restarting NinjaTrader and reconnecting to Zen-Fire.

                    Please let me know if you continue to experience issues.

                      Hello,

                      Can't place a trade. The message "No data affected order" keeps popping up. I have version 7. It was fine until I logged back in this evening. Please help. Thanks.

                          If you upgrade to NT version 7 the problems with NinjaTrader Zen-Fire historical data servers disappear... It's clear.

                            Na data feed from zen fire

                            Hello,
                            i just started a demo account in NT7 with free zen fire data feed. Everything is going well, its connected to my account (in the bottom left corner is connected - zen fire in green) but i dont get any data feed. What can be the problem?

                            ps: The message when i place an order is : There is no market data available to drive the simulation engine. affected order: Sell 1 Market

                              Hello axelp,

                              Can you please tell me what instrument + expiry month you have selected when no data is received. Do you receive data for the ES 06-12?

                              The error message is as expected when you submit an order and you do not receive real-time data for the instrument in question.

                              If the issue remains, please try the following. Please disconnect from Zen-Fire and go to Control Center-->Tools-->Options-->Data-tab and click Reset Instruments. Restart NinjaTrader and connect to Zen-Fire again. Check if you receive real-time data.
