IB Connection Issue

I just update my IB Workstation to 918.8 and Java to 1.6 release 26.
Now NT keeps launching the IB Log In screen when my IB is already launched.
I am running NT7 release 6.
IB already confirgured to accept ActiveX and Sockets client.
Your quick attention is appreciated.

Please uninstall TWS 918 and install TWS 917 from our website here:

TWS 918 isn't supported at this time, we currently only support TWS 917.

Let me know if downgrading solves your issue.

Done and it resolves the issue. Thanks.
I seldom upgrade TWS, my previous version was installed back in Nov 2010.
You may need to issue advisory before more users encounter similar issue. The TWS checks for updates at Windows startup.

Great to hear.

Best is to check our website first and see if we support the new TWS version if a pop up message comes up asking you to update your TWS.

We always list what specific version we support.
