OK when you said, "you need to have NT connected to see the order filled" you meant just that.

If NT is not connected whilst the trade is live, the STOP/LIMIT would action its just that you cant see it?

Sorry Brett, if I don't get it this time, think I will need a chat with someone. I want to purchase NT but if it doesn't do what I need maybe MBT is not right for me.

Hello,

Correct NinjaTrader will not see it get filled.

If NinjaTrader cannot see it get filled it cannot automatically cancel the asociated stop loss or profit target. Meaning If your profit target gets filled while you are disconnected. Then the stop loss will remain in the market. It could fill if the market headed lower and could put you in a unexpected short position. Which is the worst case scenario here if NT was disconnect and you could not cancel the order in time before it filled. Therefor you will want to insure your order status and if you get disconnected from MBT your orders are still there.

I am beginning to feel like a complete idiot, but this is not clearly & wholly explained.
I feel I am just getting it piecemeal.

I think if I finally understand it, it means that whilst my Stop/limit resides on the MBT servers they are not there as OCO orders (as the link states), otherwise NT wouldn't have to cancel the one that remains.

So it does what I need but because of the OCO limitation I need to be aware that in the event of NT disconnection I need to manage it.

If NT is connected throughout it will action normally.

I hope I have finally got it! If so anything else I need to be aware of?

Will NT work OK with the new MBT UK?

As far as I can see it is similar to US but with different leverage and allows Hedging.

Back on topic, I have opened a DEMO A/C with MBT UK set up a connection and connected which seems to be fine. Of course, as with MBT US, I can't test it any further without purchasing NT however it would seem to be OK.

I didn't set up another MBT platform just used the one I had set up for MBT US.
