FX Order Entry Question

Not sure can you please send a screenshot of it.

To send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CRTL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.

Ive found a box that has an order thin gon the bottom and a :

name action type price etc grrey box on teh top,its about 3 by 6 inches,what is this?

Please right click on the chart->data series->Plot Executions option to DoNotPlot.

Unfortunately this is not possible. However I will send this into development as a suggestion for them to possibly add in a future version of the software.

NinjaTrader_Brett Thank you for your answer. I've got the concept and it work. However, is it possible to change the middle mouse click behaviour? Sometimes I am working from the laptop, and it has not middle mouse bottom.

Thanks for the forum post and welcome to NinjaTrader.

In the FX pro window this is expected. Reason is that it choose to instead have you middle mouse click with your wheel in the price field. This will auto insert in the current price it is trading at. At that point you can then scroll to set the price.

This will work in the ATM window and the limit order submit in the FX Pro window.

Hi,

I am new to Ninja Trader; I decided to give it a try after read very good opinions from Dr. Brett Steenbarger on his book Enhancing Trader Performance. So far I have had a very good experience and I think it is a fine piece of software.

I established a connection with MBTrading, but I am having some trouble with the ATM Strategy parameter entry. Using the FXPro or the Chart trader I set Properties/Parameter Type = price. And when I try to enter a price for a currency pair in the StopLoss or TakeProfit fields it is not possible, the only way to modify price is using the up/down arrows.

Also, on the FX Pro, when trying to create a limit order, I cannot enter a Limit Price, the only way to modified the price on that field is using the up/down bottoms.

Is there any configuration that I am missing?
