market replay unfilled orders

    market replay unfilled orders

    nt 7.0.1000.6

    using mkt replay
    if i put in a buy stop order BELOW the current price (b/c the price is moving too fast)
    i get the appropriate msg saying that it is not allowed .. fine

    but the order gums up nt
    i can no longer place any orders for that instrument on MktReplay

    i have to go to tools/options/simulator/reset
    and reset MktReplay

    then it will allow new orders

    Hi ssylwester,

    This will happen anytime orders are stuck in a Pending state. The only way to remove is reset the account. I'm not seeing it every time there's a rejected order. Is this what you're seeing?

      It happens sometimes. Not always.
      Often there is the warning box (cannot buy stop below price)
      Then if i put in another order, it gets stuck.
      No other way besides resetting account? sounds like a bug that should put on the list

          Has there been any resolution to this problem?

          I too see this happen. The only way I get out is to disconnect from Market Replay. But then, I loose all my previous trade history.

            Are you using the current built of NT V7.0.1000.7? You can check this under help--> about.

            There have been some improvements and upgrades to the database technology NinjaTrader 7 uses in the latest release. If you have not yet, I would suggest upgrading to the most current version and testing again for further issues.

              yes, using 1000.7, and still having the problem. can you pls see if this bug is listed for repair in the next build ?

                Hi ssylwester,

                I'm not familiar with the item you describe in the first post, that a rejected order prevents you from placing more orders in market replay. Can you please confirm this is still what you are experiencing? Please email support 'at' ninjatrader 'dot' com Attn: RyanM so we can arrange remote support to see this.
