    Hello,

    Thank you for your post.

In order to access multiple IB accounts wiithin NinjaTrader all IB accounts must share the same username and password.

Once connected you will have access to all accounts within the Account drop down menu which may then be traded seperately within the platform.

Please let me know if I may be of further assistance.

But IB doesn't allow two accounts with the same username. Please advise.
      Thank you very much.

        Hi CTAtrader,

This is something which is allowed in many cases, but I can't be sure of exactly how this would work on the IB side. I'd recommend that you follow up with IB to see if they can provide a bit more informaiton. As I recall, it is the FA account type which would be required here.

          Thanks, Ninja Kyle!

Assuming I can get the same username/password for different IB accounts, how do I reference each account from Tradestation? I'm using Tradestation 8.7 and through NT's functions to send orders to TWS(s). But looking at the NT functions, for example NTBuyLimitstring orderId, int quantity, double limitPrice), it doesn't provide a way to specify different accounts.

          Thank you.

            Hello CTAtrader,

You can use the NTCommand function to specify the account. See the following link then Global functions section.

int NTCommand(string command, string account, string action, int quantity, string orderType, double limitPrice, double stopPrice, string timeInForce, string oco, string orderId, string strategy, string strategyId)
Function for submitting, cancelling and changing orders, positions and strategies. Refer to the Commands and Valid Parameters section for detailed information. A return value of 0 indicates success and -1 indicates an error. The Log tab will list context sensitive error information.

I've managed to connect to two IB accounts (one paper, one live), and have them run the same strategy side-by-side without any problems.
Needless to say both account have a different user/password and authentication procedure.
I did this by first running both TWS, logging in, and then hit the 'connect' from NT.

              Hope this helps.
