Strategy order location for Velocity Futures (TT)

Hi,

I have a question regarding strategy order placement for Velocity Futures broker (using TT FIX).
I read here: http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/f...ead.php?t=5349 that for TT the OCOs are simulated on my PC, meaning that a connection lost would leave my position without a stop-loss.

1) The info on the post is from 2008, is it still the case for Velocity?
2) Is there an option on a strategy to submit at least the stop-loss part?

Thank you for your post.

1) We have not received any update from TT or Velocity regarding this. This means that this is still the case regarding OCO orders.

2) Allow me to clarify, the OCO (Once Cancels Other) functionality is simulated on your PC.
Example: If you place an order with an ATM Strategy with one Stop and one Target.
The Stop and Target go to the exchange and are residing at their servers.
The OCO functionality is if the Target is filled then the Stop will be cancelled.

With the OCO function being hosted on your PC, this means that if you place your order then lose connection or your PC fails, then you would need to manually cancel the Stop if your Target gets filled when you get back online.
