Customizing chart panel

1) While looking at a chart, you're allowed to switch the instrument from the "Default List." However, I'd like to organize my instruments under various lists, e.g FX, indexes etc. How do I bring up other lists in the chart panel?

2) Along the same lines, how do I quickly switch between a time chart and a tick chart without having to go through Data Series.

Thank you for your post.

1. Unfortunately the Default instrument list is available within the chart Instrument drop down menu at this time. I have forwarded this to our development team as a suggestion on how we can improve the NinjaTrader platform. Once this suggestion has been input into our tracking system I will forward you the assigned ID number for tracking.

To change to another instrument on the fly you may type the symbol within the chart i.e. AAPL and hit Enter.

2. To load a Tick chart please type the value wihtin your chart followed by an T. For exampe for a 150 Tick chart you would type 150T within your chart and hit Enter.

The following characters are used for Tick based charts; Tick=T, Seconds=S, Range=R and Volume=V.
