    NT 7.0.1000.6
    Zen-Fire

    7pm Arizona time, I cannot connect to retrieve historical data. Are the servers down?

    I am also unable to connect -- very likely that Zen-Fire is doing maintenance.

      As mrpowerballad had stated you are most likely trying to login during Zen-Fire server maintenance.

          For future reference, Zen-Fire servers are taken down every weekend to perform maintenance.

            Suggestion

            I prefer to have NT connect to Zen-Fire when it loads, but sometimes it can't.

            Is there a way to configure NT to load in replay mode when it senses that a live connection isn't possible? At least we'd be able to use the program.

              The reason you most likely cannot automatically connect to Zen-Fire is due to the weekend server maintenance.

              Unfortunately at this time you cannot automatically connect to the Market Replay connection if you are unable to connect to a live connection.

                Thanks Cameron, I figured that was the reason. Is there a configuration I can leave NT in that will let it at least open and then let me connect manually to either my live connection or replay? I'm willing to take this extra step to stop this kind of frustration. I've got a ton of replay data stored and am a little miffed that I can't do anything with NT because of something out of your control.


                Please put this on your programmer's to-do list. I currently own an expensive program (NT, which I love) that at the moment is useless to me.

                  I can manually remove the auto-connect on startup please provide me with your Config.xml file.

                  You will find the Config.xml file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Config.xml

                  Please send a note to Support[AT]NinjaTrader[DOT]com.

                  Put ATTN:Cameron in the subject and link to this forum post in the body.
