    Reliable EOD feed for FTSE and EURO STOX50

    Asked about this before but maybe there is a better data feed option with Ninja7 now for a reliable EOD feed for FTSE and EURO STOX50 rather than using YAHOO ?

    Is there someway of connecting to BATS exchange?

    Hi,

    Thank you for your post.

    You can use Kinetick as an alternative. It's our preferred datafeed provider and they have a Free EOD connection set up by default in NT7.
    You can connect to this by going to File--> Connect--> Kinetick - End of Day (Free). Then when connected you can bring up Daily, Weekly and Monthly charts. The FTSE and Euro Stoxx are included as well.

    The BATs is something we're planning to add at the end of the year with Kinetick.

    So far the following exchanges are planned to be added at the end of the year:

    Futures:
    * Tokyo Commodities Exchange (TOCOM)
    * Tokyo Grain Exchange (TGE)
    * Dalian (China)
    * Zhengzhou (China)
    * Australian Securities Exchange (Commodities only)

    Level II Stocks:
    * Nasdaq TotalView
    * ARCA book
    * DirectEdge
    * BATs

      With Kinetick is it the FTSE Indices and EuroStox Indices ? I am looking for the individual components too i.e the Equities - BARCLAYS etc..

      With Kinetick How can someone do a symbol lookup

        Hi,

        The FTSE Euro Stoxx is a Futures contract that trades on the Eurex with us.

        Best to look up symbols is to go here on our website:

          if ninzatrader could just "read" metastock format EOD files that would be easy with a subscription to eod Reuters-

              Bertrand,
              I am aware of that already....we can import metastock data to database, not "read" from a file as tradestation and many other software does.......this is not handy actually is a pain in the ass if you have to import big files with lots of symbols every day.....

                trader65, thanks for clarifying - correct this would be for historical data only and it would import the data actually into the local database NT uses.

                Additionally, may I request you please don't use offensive language on our forums? That way we can keep a good and productive atmosphere for all members here - thanks.
