TWS 917, incorrect data in times&sales window

Hi, I have a datafeed connection using TWS 917. When I open the times and sales window I see mostly short trades (at bid and below), rarely a long trade on different forex currency pairs for hours. The indicators calculating bid ask volume also show this behaviour. I know the quality of datafeed from IB can't be compared to data providers like CQG,DTN/IQ or Kinetick. What is wrong ?

    Hello,

    Thanks for the forum post.

Unfortunately this data is displayed directly as IB sends it here.

Have you checked to make sure your colors are setup correctly by right clicking on the time and sales window and double checking the colors. just to make double sure that your reading colors correct and also they didnt get changed to something you did not expect.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

Hi Brett, colors are default. I will ask IB. It shouldn't be incorrect to such an extreme degree. Has anyone had a similar issue (bid/ask volume feed) with this connection setup ?

        Hi monnn,

This isn't something we've seen other reports of today from other IB users, no.

          Permanent bug in NT7 ?

          Hi NT,
I still have the same problem I described in this thread. I see the data in Time and Sales window on TWS. But, when I try to see (and use) them on NT7, the data is incomplete, different from TWS, simply wrong, unusable.

If this STILL doesn't work , how can I be sure the KINETICK datafeed won't be the same ?

            Hello,

We simply display the data as we receive it. I know that IB isnt a true unfiltered feed and is instead on a 300ms refresh I believe. You would need to double check with IB on this.

Would recommend you try kinetick, we have no issues on this with Kinetick and it is a high quality data feed.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.
